Wide Spray insert TCT-516 made from tungsten carbide for close up blast cleaning. used in suction / syphon style blast cleaning systems.
Wide exit insert made from tungsten carbide are used in cabinet or work shop style blast cleaning applications. These tough wide spray inserts are held in a syphon gun that is part of a syphon system. Wide spray insert TCT-516 insert has a s 5/16″ straight bore. Wide exit inserts have a wider blast pattern that covers more surface area than a standard straight bore insert. For a larger bore take a look at the TCT-517 which has a 7/16″ straight bore. The Boron carbide equivalent is the BCI-516. Boron carbide inserts can be used with more aggressive abrasives like aluminum oxide. We recommend using Boron carbide nozzles or inserts when blast cleaning with aluminum oxide or similar aggressive abrasives.
