Description
Cabinet Nozzle ATV-4-BC High performance medium length grit blasting nozzles.
Cabinet Nozzle ATV-4-BC is a 1/4″ bore, Boron carbide, medium length (4 inch long) high performance venturi nozzle. Fitted with an armored aluminum jacket and 3/4″ NPSM threads it is an excellent choice for blast cleaning in cabinets or similar applications. The ATV-4-BC nozzle blasts faster than a # 4 short straight bore nozzle. Reason for this higher performance is that it incorporates a venturi style tungsten carbide liner. This design increases velocity & productivity. Cabinet nozzle ATV-4-BC, with its increased exit velocity can increases cleaning rate when compared with a #4 short straight bore nozzle. ATV-4-BC with its improved blast cleaning performance is a great option.
Applications:
Short nozzles are used for close up grit blasting of small parts in cabinet or workshop blast cleaning. workshop applications include automotive, machine shops, product finishing shops. Recommended for use with aluminum oxide type abrasives. If less aggressive abrasives are being used we suggest looking at our ATV-4-TC. This nozzle has same specs as the ATV-4-BC but uses a Tungsten carbide liner.
Boron carbide has a longer wear life across all abrasives when compared with a nozzle using a tungsten carbide liner.
For less aggressive blast cleaning and a narrower blast pattern look at the ut-4 straight bore nozzle.
