Boron carbide cabinet Insert #2. This quality replacement sandblasting gun insert with a 0.50″ O.D. fits Skat style blast cleaning guns. This insert has a 1/8″ bore (needs equivalent air jet). Inserts are used in suction style cabinet blast cleaning guns for cleaning small parts either in a cabinet set up or in an open workshop environment. Blast cleaning using these style guns is for removing old paint, rust or other contaminants from the surface of small parts before applying a new coating. This liner works well with aggressive abrasives like aluminum oxide for less aggressive media and lower cost we have a Tungsten carbide version available TCI-SB35-2. Tungsten carbide has a longer wear life than a ceramic.

How do I know if this insert will fit my blast cleaning gun? Since there are many styles of siphon guns on the market it is important to identify correct replacement carbide tips. In this case, these parts work with guns that are “SKAT” Style. (Fits these gun assemblies S-35, C-35, S-25, and C-25.)
Additionally, check external dimensions of tip you are currently using, if O.D. = 0.50”. Length 1.563” (1-9/16”) as shown in pictures, then TCI-SB35 series should fit your gun.
