Boron carbide 2″ nozzles are used in applications where close up blast cleaning is needed. This style of blast leaning work takes place in a blast cleaning cabinet. These nozzles are also used in robotic blast cleaning set ups as found in in some automotive applications. This quality nozzle has a boron carbide liner and can be used with aggressive abrasives such as aluminum oxide. The steel jacket of this tough little nozzle is coated with zinc oxide to provide some resistance against oxidation.
A shorter version of this nozzle which is only 1-3/4″ long, is the UTBC-4. For venturi enhanced performance, in this cabinet style nozzle ,then take a look at our ATV-4-BC. This is a longer nozzle approximately 4″ long which has a faster blasting speed and larger blast pattern than a straight bore nozzle.
