Cabinet gun insert BCI-5 made from high wear resistant Boron carbide is designed /made to fit into a number of popular sandblasting cabinet guns & suction guns. Insert has an O.D. of 7/8″ (22.2mm) and is used as a cost effective replacement liner in some of the popular cabinet blast cleaning guns . BCI style inserts are used for close up blast cleaning in blast cabinet or workshop applications. Our Boron carbide BCI series inserts, feature a straight bore with tight blast pattern for spot cleaning on small parts. Boron carbide is a brittle material that gives superior wear performance and can improve productivity if you are blast cleaning with an aggressive media and using a tungsten carbide nozzle/insert. Boron carbide is a great choice for blast cleaning applications where the insert/nozzle is protected by a metal jacket. Looking for a wider blast pattern then take a look at the BCI-516. This liner has a wider angled exit allowing the abrasive blast pattern to widen on exit the nozzle. Our Boron carbide inserts are available in all the popular bore sizes, ranging from 1/4″ to 1/2″.
