Banana nozzle for sandblasting has a 3/8″ bore and boron carbide lining. This quality Curved nozzle has 3/4″ NPSM threads and a curve of approximately 41 degrees.
Uses:
This nozzle is a useful alternative to standard angle nozzles. It gives blast cleaning technicians / operators a very useful tool to reach difficult blast cleaning areas. Some examples of areas that this nozzle can help reach are: (1) under side of pipes, (2) angles on bridge work (3) inside of shallow steel holes. A Banana nozzle directs flow of abrasive more accurately on to difficult to reach surfaces.
Adapter:
We recommend using our banana nozzle with available tungsten carbide lined thread adaptor (TA-CB2-114). This adaptor converts curved nozzle for use with 1-1/4″ NPSM nozzle holders. Additionally it channels abrasive stream from blast hose down to nozzle entrance size.
Angle Nozzles:
Tungsten Carbide angle nozzles for sandblasting are available with one, two or three exit ports. Generally, the two and three port angle nozzles are used for blast cleaning inside tubes or U-shaped forms, where abrasive can only be aimed at side walls with an angle nozzle. Another area where carbide angle nozzles are useful is in getting behind angles on bridge work. Some jobs may need a combination of nozzles to reach inside tight angles or partially enclosed areas. Angle Nozzles are available with forward shooting exit ports at approx. 45 degrees, sideways shooting at 90 degrees and reverse angle nozzles with a port that shoots abrasive at approx. 135 degrees.
